Question How do I get more out of my 89chevy c1500 pu? More miles to the gallon and more horse power ??

Followup Thank you for the response and I am gonna accept your recomendation. Now I only have one more question< Do you know of any companies that you can suggest for fixing up my truck? I need a new seat (bench) and head liner and a paint job. And any thing else that may make the truck look better. Thanks again for you time. Bill
