Question I have a 1992 Grande Marquis car and I have never been able to read the oil on the dip stick. Some station attendants say that they have this problem with certain vehicles. What is the answer. Right now I am guessing most of the time. Thank you

Reply Check both sides of the dipstick as some vehicles wipe part of the dipstick clean with the curves in the dipstick tube. If your oil is very clean it will be difficult to see. Use light to spot the oil on the stick. Be sure you are checking the oil in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Angelo Silverado Auto Service
