Question

I recently replaced the automatic transmission in my 1984 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a rebuilt transmission and torque converter. My question is in reference to matching the torque converter to the flywheel. The only marking on the replacement torque converter to indicate matching with the flywheel was the letter "P" next to one of the bolt holes. I assumed that since since this was the only marking, it should be matched with the flywheel bolthole where the balancing holes were different. I haven't noticed any shudder or shimmying during driving, but want to find out what the markings are to match the converter and flywheel up.Thanks!

The torque converter does not have to be matched up because it does not balance the engine.
