Question

I own a 1991 Toyota Camry, 4 cyl. 2.0 liter; 16-valve engine with 80,000 miles ... Currently ... this engine hums perfectly ... the only recent symptoms have been unexpected stalls at intersections, after the car comes to a halt from any rate of deceleration ... My only guess is that during this deceleration ... the computer tells the fuel injector to shut off momentarily... and probably starving it from fuel ... some sensor or something ?? Any ideas where I should look first ?? Thanks ?? -- Gary -

I would suggest inspecting throttle bore condition and your airflow tube from airflow meter to throttle bore. Any other more in-depth tests which would be required would need to be performed by a qualified technician.
