Question

My brother just bought a low mileage 1995 Mitsubishi Galant with an overdrive automatic trans. The problem is a HUGE delay in downshifting when the accelerator is floored at low speeds. It feels like an an old carbureted engine bogging down. One shop said the tranny was operating normally, but there's definitely something wrong. Any ideas?

You may require a throttle valve cable adjustment. Further diagnosis is needed on your vehicle.
