Question My friend has a 1993 Saturn, SL 2 Sedan. He mentioned that he has taken his car into Saturn to have his throttle box cleaned in the past. It doesn't take them long, but it costs too much to have done regularly. Is there a way to clean it himself? Oh, by the way--what is a throttle box?- Josh

Reply To clean the throttle body you will need to buy some B-12 carburetor cleaner in a spray can. Remove the air intake tube, hold the throttle wide open, spray the carburetor cleaner into the throttle body and clean the bore and throttle plate. Angelo Silverado Auto Service
