Question I have an 86 Astrovan with power accessories. My power windows had been working fine until one day they stopped working. I replaced the small square metal fuse, but it still is not working...can you give me any ideas? Thanks in advance...Andy

Reply Test for voltage at the "square metal fuse" (circuit breaker) to determine if it is getting feed voltage.It should be 12 volts with the key on.If the voltage is OK, test for voltage at the power window master switch and test for a ground at the power window master switch at the driver's door.If there is no voltage or ground at the master switch, inspect for an open wire or poor ground possibly in the wiring harness at the door hinge bellows.If voltage and ground is good, test for voltage through switch or switches.It is unlikely, if none of your windows are working, that both motors and/or both switches went bad.
