QuestionI have a '91 Honda Accord. The car rattles/shakes when idling if the air conditioner is on. If there is a lot of stop & go traffic, the air conditioner is running but not cooling. A month ago the top of the radiator cracked open (it has a plastic top) and the Honda dealer replaced the radiator, thermostat, and fluid. But the idling/air conditioner problem is still happening. Thanks in advance, Sally |
ReplyYour 1991 Honda Accord requires a diagnostic check which would involve checking such things as air conditioning state of charge, air conditioning idle load compensation operation, cooling fan operation, and other fundamental tests which are run on an engine with a rough idle and/or inefficient air conditioning.Angelo Silverado Auto Service |
