Question
I own a 1989 Chevrolete Celebrity. Recently I have had recurring trouble keeping it running. It sometimes has a rough idle, sometimes stalls without warning and refuses to stay running in drive. Then the problems will vanish for brief periods. It has started accelerating and decelerating unevenly. The problem is that no trouble codes register. The service engine light flickers sometimes but no trouble is recorded. The oxygen sensor has been replaced twice in the last year. The map sensor has also been replaced recently and there is still trouble. These problems gave a trouble signal. There is no signal now, but the car is not running at all well. Do you have any idea as to what might be wrong?
