Question

I have a 1985 toyota truck. I have replace four factory remanufactured starter. I took it to toyota dealership service center.. All systems check out o.k. I live in Las vegas nv. would you know what how i could correct the problem. thank you.

I would suggest performing voltage feed tests at your starter motor. These tests would indicate an intermittent connection or fault in the ignition switch, battery, cables, terminals, safety switch, etc. Please do not forget to check the starter mounting and all grounds as well as a visual inspection of a possible exhaust or oil leak which may affect the starter once it is installed and the vehicle is operated.
