Question89 Buick Century. 3.3L v6, runs good when first started until normal operating temperature is reached, then it dies like ignition was cut off. If restarted, it seems to only be running on 2 or 3 cylinders, won't idle, no power, undriveable. If let cool, it will start and run normally until warm again. Help??? |
ReplyThe vehicle needs a computer diagnostic check along with some fundamental inspections. Information such as fuel pressure, scanner readings, secondary ignition KV output per cylinder, exhaust back-pressure, and engine manifold vacuum readings while the vehicle is acting up are needed to accurately diagnose your complaint as your vehicle has many complex and fundamental systems that can cause the problem you've described. You should take it into your local repair shop...or Silverado Auto Service if you're in the area.
