Question

Dear Sirs:
Vehicle- 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix3.1 liter 2 door with AC.
Problem- always getting high heat regardless of the positionof the controls. Moving the lever to blue (cool) does not resolve the issue. Turning AC on also results in heat, but from the AC vents. Coolant level is good, and temperature isnormal.
With spring only a few weeks away, I'm anxious to fix this problem. What can you suggest?

You have a problem with the blend door remaining in the hot air position. In order to diagnose what the cause of this is, testing and inspection must be performed at the control head and at the blend door.
