Question

I have an 86 Cutalss Olds Ciera, 2.8 EFI with this problem: engine starts when cold and runs fine. I run an errand and return to my warmed car to find that it will not start. Engine turns over but there is no spark to the plugs. I have replacedthe ignition coil, distributor cap & rotor and the problem persists. If I let the car cool down, it gets to sparkin' again.Do you think that it is the distributor module? Thanks.

Possible module or pickup coil failure.

Followup

Thank You Angelo. No problem with the delay. It gave me more time to think about it. It did turn out to be the module and it now runs great! Have a good one!
