Question

Hi--I own a '94 Toyota P/U 4x4. When I changed the Differential and Manual transmission fluid, I mistakenly put some very heavy and thick gear oil in. I drove the truck for the weekend before I realized my stupidity. I drained the bad(thick) oil and refilled with the proper viscosity. However, during the winter months, when it's cold out, I have much trouble getting it out of 1st gear and into 2nd when I shift. Going from 2nd to 3rd and so on is easier but still not smooth-until I have driven the truck a couple of miles. Any suggestions? Do I drain it again--use lighter viscosity?? Please Help

For the differential use SAE 90 API GL-5. For the transmission use SAE 75W-90 API GL-4. Also, check the clutch master fluid level.
