Question

I own a 1996 Honda Accord LX. At highway speeds, the car was pulling slightly to the right. After a wheel alignment, rotation and balancing it now pulls slightly to the left. When I questioned the mechanic about this, he told me that the problem is the caster which cannot be adjusted, however this would not cause any improper wear on the tires. The only way to correct this, he said, is to move the tires around until a combination is found which does not cause this.Although I am not an expert, I have never head of this. Usually, if my car was pulling one way, a wheel alignment corrected this. It is very annoying at highway speeds as I am forced to always apply a slight pressure on the sterring wheel to the right to compensate for the drift. Is my mechanic being truthfull or is this just a mis-alignment or is there another solution? Thanks is advance for any information you can give me.Tony

If a rotation changes the pull from left to right, the problem is the tires. All very possible. Possible tire pull.
