Question I own a 1997 ford ranger. It has a dual spark ignition system. I have a sun tach I would like to install. There seems to be no coil. I need to know where to connect the green tach signal wire. What looks like a distributor, actually two distributors, is a connector with three wires. There is no coil wire. Any help will be appreciated.

Reply There should be a black and yellow tachometer service wire connection under the hood. If you cannot find the connection, pin #12 at the DIS module is the service wire. Angelo Silverado Auto Service
