Question

I have a 1990 Chev. Cavalier & the flashing on the turn signals is not working(but the lights are working and the hazards are flashing. I was reading a Haynes repair manual, and it says there is a seperate turn signal flasher (seperate to that of the hazard flasher). The hazard flasher is accessible beside the horn relay, but I can't find a seperate turn signal flasher. The manual says it should be retained by a spring clip and mounted near the convenience centre or next to the steering column. I thought it would look the same as the hazard flasher, but can't find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

The turn signal flasher is mounted to the left steering column bracket. They are hard to find. You'll just have to poke around. The flasher looks almost like the hazard flasher but is silver in color.

RE: the message about the flasher for the '90 Cavalier from shester. I finally located the damn thing. Mounted behind the heater controls with a clip. - Thanks anyway.
