Introduction

Around 1996, my brother Angelo decided that he wanted a web site for his business, Silverado Auto Service of Napa, California, U.S.A.. I set up the site for him and we decided that it would be fun to answer people's emailed questions. These pages are the results of that effort. Although he has sold the business and moved on, and although we do not answer e-mailed questions anymore, visitors continue to come to these pages every day in search of answers. And I think they find them--in the time that my brother spent answering questions, it seems to me that a large part of automotive knowlege was shared. I do hope that you find what you're looking for.

Find Your Automotive Answer

This is a simple site search tool that I wrote. I'm waiting for a certain leading search site to index this web site so that things will be easier to find, but it sure is taking them a while. Here's a hint: if you're looking for fuel injector-related answers, search for fuel inject because you will then get search results that include fuel injection. It's a spelling thing. Good luck!
